4. Purpose of processing personal data

Personal data is processed for handling feedback and for responding to it.

The user may provide the following personal data:

• other free-form information

In addition, we save the form submission date and time.

Data contained in the register is only obtained directly from data subjects themselves using online forms.

Register information is used within Canam Trade Oy for replying to contacts. Subcontractors may also have access to this information.

9. Principles of register protection

Only the data controller and persons expressly authorised by it have access to the data in the register. Only designated individuals are entitled to process and maintain the data contained in the register. Users are bound by the obligation of secrecy.

The data network and IT hardware in which the register is located are protected by a firewall and other technical means. IT equipment is located in locked and guarded facilities.

10. Right of access

Everyone has the right to check personal data concerning him or her.

The request for personal data must be made in written, hand-signed letter or in person at the data controller’s location. The request shall be directed to the data controller.

Making a personal data request is free of charge once every twelve (12) months.

11. Right to request rectification

Everyone has the right to request rectification of inaccurate data.

The rectification request must be filed in writing and be sufficiently detailed: it must include name and both erroneous and corrected information. The request shall be directed to the data controller.
